White clumpy flowers attach to stems near their ends. After blooming, flower
heads will turn dark brown and remain after leaves have dropped. Leaves and stems are
covered with silver hair. Leaves have been boiled for tea and flower parts
used for medicinal purposes. Makes a dried flower.
